What This Means

This page has only one inbound internal link from the rest of the site. It is minimally connected to the site's internal link structure and receives equity from only one internal source.

Why It Matters for SEO

A page with only one internal link is fragile: if the linking page is restructured and the link removed, this page becomes an orphan. It also signals to crawlers that the page is not particularly important within the site's hierarchy, since only one other page has judged it worth linking to.

What the Platform Checks

After the full crawl, the platform counts all followed inbound internal links per page. Fires when a page has exactly one inbound internal link.

How to Fix It

  • Identify where in the topic structure this page belongs and add links from related pages, hub pages, and category or section indexes.
  • Add the page to internal navigation where relevant — sidebars, related posts widgets, or "you might also like" sections.
  • At minimum, ensure the page appears in the sitemap and at least 2-3 contextually related pages link to it.

Find every under-linkedpage on your site

The audit surfaces every page with only one internal link so you can strengthen the weakest nodes in your link structure.
