Alt Text
Image alt text describes the content of an image to screen readers and search engines. It is a required attribute for all <img> elements and serves two purposes: making images accessible to users who cannot see them, and providing search engines with text to understand what the image depicts. These three checks audit alt text presence, completeness, and appropriate length.
Image elements without any alt attribute — screen readers and crawlers have no description.
Images with an empty alt attribute — decorative intent declared, but may be incorrect for content images.
Alt text exceeds 100 characters — likely too long; may be treated as keyword stuffing.
