Volume
The number of internal links on and to a page affects both crawl prioritization and user navigation. Pages with too few internal links may be inadequately connected to the site; pages with too many may dilute the equity value of each individual link and create crawl complexity. These three checks identify volume-based internal link issues.
Pages With Only One Internal Link
Warning
Receiving only one internal link — poorly connected and at risk of being crawled infrequently.
High Number of Internal Outlinks
Notice
This page has an unusually high number of internal outlinks — equity per link is diluted.
Too Many Links on Page
Notice
Total link count (internal + external) is very high — may dilute equity and slow crawling.
Audit internal link volumeacross your site
The audit reports internal link counts per page so you can identify both under-linked and over-linked pages.
