Indexable Page Linked Only from Non-Indexable Pages
What This Means
This indexable page (which should rank) receives internal links only from pages that are themselves noindexed, redirected, or otherwise excluded from the index. Links from non-indexable pages do not pass equity to their destinations.
Why It Matters for SEO
Link equity flows from indexed pages to their link targets. If the only sources of internal links to an important page are themselves noindexed, the page receives no internal equity contribution. It is indexed but unsupported.
What the Platform Checks
After the full crawl, the platform builds the inlink graph and checks whether any followed inlinks come from pages that are indexable. Fires when all inbound links come from noindexed, redirected, or canonicalized-away pages.
How to Fix It
- Add internal links to this page from indexable content pages — category pages, related posts, hub pages, or navigation.
- Ensure at least one indexable, well-linked page links to this page.
- Review whether the pages currently linking to this page are correctly noindexed — they may have been accidentally noindexed.
Find every pagelinked only from non-indexable sources
The audit identifies indexable pages with no equity-passing inlinks so you can add links from indexable pages.
